Gut Zernikow is located amidst wide avenues and historic buildings, inviting strolls across the grounds. The old estate with various projects and events offers opportunities to connect creativity, community, and nature.
Anyone interested in culture can visit changing exhibitions – for example, on the regional silk production history – or participate in events such as readings, concerts, or themed festivals.
For enjoyment and relaxation, the cozy crêperie Crêperie Bric à Brac in the former sheep barn allows visitors to linger over galettes, crêpes, or cakes.
For families or groups, Gut Zernikow also offers leisure activities such as a petanque court, animal encounters – like with donkeys – and a playful scavenger hunt across the estate grounds.
Farmers' Market
In July and August, a farmers' market featuring regional products & handicrafts, hands-on activities for both young and old, and live music takes place every Friday from 12 to 5 PM.
Textile Studio erie
Last but not least, the textile studio erie invites visitors on Fridays and weekends to learn about sustainable textile work and to be creative themselves. Founder Hannah Schorch offers Eco-Printing workshops in our summer program. The studio produces plant-dyed unique pieces, fair fashion, and zero-waste designs; there are also regional products, second-hand items, upcycling, and clothing swaps. Adults and children can implement their own ideas in regular workshops – such as sewing, printing, or dyeing – and discover conscious alternatives to fast fashion.
