Here you’ll quickly learn what facilities and services our campsite offers – from electricity and barbecue rental to fire pits and dog rules.
Reception
Our reception is the heart of the place - here we assist you with all questions regarding your stay; boats, hiking maps, and many small services are also available here.
High season: daily 9 am - 12 pm & 2 pm - 8 pm
Low season: daily 10 am - 12 pm & 3 pm - 5 pm.
Outside of opening hours, you will find written instructions here.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi with limited capacity is available on our terrace, in the café, and on the bathing meadow.
It is intended for picking up and dropping off information and messages. It is not really sufficient for streaming movies and online gaming.
For video conferences, there is the business Wi-Fi.
Bread Roll Service
Order your fresh rolls conveniently by 9 pm the night before. You can pick them up in the store starting at 8 am.
In the off-season, only the pre-ordered rolls will be baked.
If you pay directly when ordering, you save time at pickup. This way, you start your morning relaxed with fresh rolls.
Payment
You can pay on-site with cash or card (EC card, all major credit cards) as well as with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Reservations are paid in advance at the time of booking. With the online booking, you have access to an integrated payment function with many options – from credit card to Klarna to instant transfer.
Electricity
Electricity is available from 16 power boxes almost everywhere. For some places, longer cables or special plugs are needed; these can be borrowed if necessary, but we do not have cables and adapters for all guests. What plugs you need and how far your power box is located can be found in the site descriptions on our booking page.
You can charge electronic devices for free at the mobile charging station or for a small fee at the reception.
Mobile Charging
If you just want to charge your phone or other devices briefly, you can use our free phone charging station – you don't need to book extra electricity at your pitch for that.
Alternatively, you can charge electronic devices in the sanitary area or for a small fee at the reception.
Cooking
There is currently no common cooking area, so everyone cooks on their own camping stove, grills on the site, or makes stick bread over the campfire.
Those who do not have a stove can rent one of our three gas stoves with a cartridge at the reception for a fee.
Sanitary facility
Our two new bright and friendly sanitary buildings were constructed in a completely ecological manner, using natural and recycled materials such as clay plaster and glass gravel, as well as a lot of handcrafting.
Here you can shower with warm water from geothermal and solar heat – completely without shower tokens. On the adjacent veranda, dishes can be washed and vegetables can be cleaned.
Family Bath
Our two sanitary buildings feature separate family bathrooms: a designated, private space with a shower and baby bathtub – ideal for parents with small children.
Here you can shower in peace and bathe your little ones safely and comfortably. Everything is bright and friendly designed, perfect for staying fresh and relaxed after an active day at the campsite.
Refrigerator
In the service building near the small sanitary area, community refrigerators are available where guests can store food labeled with their name and departure date. Unlabeled or forgotten items will be disposed of. Additionally, there are cooling packs for exchange in the freezer.
Washing
In the service building near the small sanitary facility, there are two washing machines and two dryers that can be operated via the WeWash app. There are clotheslines available at the tent meadow and by the sanitary facility, where laundry often dries overnight. Several sinks and work surfaces are available for hand washing; a laundry tub must be brought along. Please do not confuse the laundry tub with the baby bathtubs.
Barbecue
We have some grills that you can borrow for free. You can buy charcoal in our organic shop. Whether and where you are allowed to barbecue with charcoal depends on the wildfire warning level. At wildfire level 3, it is only allowed at the campfire site. Starting from wildfire level 4, barbecuing with charcoal is prohibited (We are in the district of Mirow). A sign with the current wildfire warning level is posted at the reception. Cooking or barbecuing with gas at your own place is permitted regardless of the warning level.
Campfire
At our central campfire site, fires can be made – depending on the forest fire level. From forest fire level 4, it is prohibited (we are in the Mirow district). A sign with the current forest fire level is posted at the reception.
The fire must be registered at the reception, and you will receive wood from us. Fires at your own site are prohibited.
Parking
Make sure to check where parking is allowed before parking your car. In the arrival area, you may park for a maximum of 2 hours for check-in or loading and unloading. Attention, do not park in one of the front parking spaces!
If you want to park the car at the tent or caravan, choose a suitably large parking space. For campers, there is a car-free area; here, vehicles may only be driven in briefly for loading and unloading, a separate parking space must be booked for that (on the side of the campground, see Lageplan).
Dogs
Visiting with a dog is only possible in the off-season (April, May, June, September, October) and must always be discussed with us in advance. Please write us a personal email or call to check if it is possible.
In the main season (July, August) and during Ascension/Pentecost, dogs are not allowed on the campsite.
Bathing Area
Our campsite offers its own swimming area with a shallow beach right by the large meadow – ideal for small children. A buoy in the water separates the non-swimmer area from the swimmer area, so everyone can splash safely. Afterwards, the fun continues on the meadow: playing ball, digging, or building sandcastles – there's no boredom here.
Pizza Oven
There is a pizza oven that you can use by leaving a deposit. The wood for the oven will be provided by us. The use of the oven must be registered at the reception. You leave a deposit and clean the oven by 10 am the next day after baking.
Hiking and Water Maps
At our reception, you can purchase cycling and hiking maps from the local provider KLEMMER-Verlag for excursions in the area. These are the best maps for hikers on land and water for our region, we believe!
Waste Separation
We ask you to pay attention to waste separation.
There are containers for paper, outer packaging (yellow dot), glass, and residual waste available at two waste collection stations at the front and back entrances of the campsite. You also have the opportunity to separate packaging materials and waste in the café.
Permanent Camping
Anyone interested in a permanent camping site in our friendly, open-minded community, please subscribe to our newsletter: We write a newsletter as soon as a permanent site becomes available and then engage in discussions with those who apply. Families with young children have priority.
