Paddle Tour to the North

Gesamtlänge:

3 - 8 km

Dauer:

Halbtages oder Tagestour

Wegkurzinfo:

If you follow the Ellbogensee to the north, you will find many resting and dining options, as well as shallow spots inviting you to splash and swim.

Priepert

Directly north of Ellbogensee lies Priepert, including a marina with beverage and food offerings. From there, you can follow the Havel west until you reach Strasen after approximately 3 km, which also has dining options. From there, you can paddle further into the Großer Pälitzsee through a lock.

Großer Priepertsee

Or you can go directly left of the Priepert marina through a canal under a road bridge – behind it opens the elongated Großer Priepertsee. On its eastern shore, you will find many shallow swimming spots where you can moor your boats and bathe in the shallow water. After about 2.3 km, a narrow passage towards Wangnitzsee opens at the northern end.

Wangnitzsee

The small island Bülowwerder in Wangnitzsee can be accessed and explored. If you keep to the left after entering Wangnitzsee, you will reach the Havel after just a few hundred meters, which flows quietly between densely wooded banks. Along the Havel, you will find several small spots right by the water – ideal for a short break.

Finowsee

After just over a kilometer, the Havel transitions into the small Finowsee. Here you turn sharply to the right. The Ahrensberger House Bridge comes into view, which you cross. Behind the bridge is the place "Beim Fischer" – ideal for a longer break. The distance to here is approximately 8 - 10 km.
